Pilot Valve for 125-150 PSI Air Compressors

Manufactured in the USA, this new air compressor unloader pilot valve is designed to operate a compressed air system at a constant run with a preset pressure operating range. It can be used to actuate throttle controls, intake unloaders, or air-actuated discharge valves.

The valve's preset operating range is 125-150 PSI. It features 1/4" male NPT threads for air hookup or direct installation into the air compressor tank. Additionally, it has 1/8" female NPT threads on the side, which serve as the port for controlling a throttle valve, cable, intake unloaders, or discharge valves. If multiple outlets are required, a "tee" fitting can be used to create additional ports, easily sourced from a local hardware store.

The valve's preset pressure can be adjusted. Beneath the manual unloader lever on the top of the valve, there are two screw settings that can be adjusted. Lock nuts hold each screw in place. The larger, bottom screw controls the valve itself and should not be adjusted. The smaller, top screw, located just below the manual lift lever, controls the pressure setting. Turning this screw inward will increase both the cut-in and cut-out pressure, while turning it outward will decrease both. It is recommended to limit any pressure adjustments to within 15 PSI in either direction.

The aluminum lift lever on the top of the valve serves as a manual unloader/control lever. When lifted to the straight-up position, it opens the valve and applies pressure to the throttle control, head unloaders, or discharge valve.
